Available configurations include post-supported systems, point-fixed systems, base-channel systems and glass-clamp structures. Common railing heights range from 900 to 1,200 mm.
Tempered glass is commonly available in thicknesses of 10, 12 or 15 mm. Laminated glass options include configurations such as 6+1.52+6 mm and 8+1.52+8 mm. The usual width of one glass panel is 800–1,500 mm.
The actual panel dimensions should be confirmed according to the glass type, panel width, fixing structure and design load. Glass thickness should not be selected only according to the total railing height.
Glass Options and Application Areas
Glass can be supplied in clear, low-iron, frosted, colored or screen-printed finishes. It may be combined with stainless steel, aluminium alloy or wooden handrails to match different interior and exterior designs.
Clearview railing systems are suitable for balconies, staircases, terraces, hotels, shopping centers, office buildings, swimming pools, viewing platforms and indoor atriums.
Laminated glass can provide a degree of fragment retention after breakage. For elevated or open-edge applications, buyers should evaluate laminated safety glass according to local requirements. ASTM C1048 and ASTM C1172 may be used as references for heat-treated architectural glass and laminated architectural glass respectively.
Other factors must also be checked. These include hole processing, edge treatment, panel span, fixing method and installation conditions.
Metal Component Processing and Installation Coordination

The factory is equipped with laser cutting machines, laser tube cutting machines, bending machines, punching machines, milling machines and robotic welding equipment. These facilities can manufacture post base plates, metal frames, corner connectors and custom handrails according to project drawings.
The project team can review the glass dimensions, railing height, installation foundation and architectural space. They can then assist in confirming metal component sizes, fixing methods and the installation sequence.
For inclined staircase sections, curved areas and irregular corners, connection details and assembly relationships can be checked before production.
Pre-Production Confirmation and Quality Control
Customization is available according to CAD drawings, 3D models or physical samples. A pre-production sample can be arranged to confirm the dimensions of the metal structure, surface finish and connection process.
During manufacturing, photos and videos of material processing, welding, grinding and finished components can be provided. Packing and shipment arrangements can also be discussed before delivery.
Before packaging, the metal parts of the clearview railing systems are inspected for dimensions, weld quality, surface condition and visible defects. The factory accepts third-party inspections before shipment.
After delivery, technical consultation, remote installation guidance, maintenance and replacement accessories can be provided to support site construction and later use.
