Common fence heights range from 1,000 to 3,000 mm. Each panel is normally 1,500–3,000 mm wide, while the usual sheet thickness is 0.8–2.0 mm. Posts can range from 60×60 to 120×120 mm according to the panel size, installation foundation and structural requirements.
Several panel structures are available. Flat sheets create a simple and continuous surface. Corrugated or folded panels provide additional stiffness across a large panel area. Perforated panels and louvers can maintain a degree of airflow and light transmission while reducing direct visibility.
The panel shape, perforation rate and louver angle can be adjusted according to the required balance between screening, ventilation and architectural appearance.
Applications and Structural Considerations
This fencing system is suitable for industrial parks, warehouses, equipment areas, residential boundaries, electrical facilities, commercial buildings, waste-handling areas and municipal projects.
Solid panels can conceal equipment or working areas and create a cleaner boundary appearance. Perforated or louvered panels are suitable where ventilation is still required. The surface can be galvanized, powder coated, pre-coated or finished with a project-specified outdoor coating system. Logos, text, company graphics and decorative patterns can also be added according to the approved design.
A solid metal panel normally receives more wind pressure than an open mesh fence. The Expanded Metal Security Fence should therefore be selected according to local wind conditions, fence height, panel opening ratio, post spacing and foundation design. Stability should not be judged only by sheet thickness.
Drawing-Based Processing and Custom Details

The factory is equipped with laser cutting machines, CNC plasma cutting machines, bending machines, punching machines, robotic welding machines and surface coating equipment. These facilities can complete sheet cutting, perforation, edge folding, reinforcement production, frame welding and surface treatment.
The project team can review custom perforation patterns, louver angles, corner panels, gate openings and areas with different ground levels. CAD drawings, site dimensions and installation plans can be used to confirm panel divisions, post sizes and connection details.
Coordination between production, coating and engineering installation teams helps reduce dimensional differences during transportation, panel connection and site positioning.
Sampling, Inspection and Delivery
A custom fence project can start from one set. A pre-production sample can be prepared to confirm the panel type, dimensions, color, pattern and surface process.
The normal production period for irregular or customized products is 15–25 working days. The exact schedule depends on the order quantity and the complexity of perforating, folding or frame fabrication.
Photos or videos of material cutting, bending, welding, coating and finished panels can be provided every 3–5 days. Before packing, the factory inspects panel dimensions, welded areas, painted surfaces and visible appearance.
Foam protection is added to exposed panel edges. Frames and stretch film are used to secure the products during transportation. Buyers may also arrange a third-party factory inspection before shipment. Installation communication, maintenance support and replacement of damaged accessories can be coordinated after delivery.
