Common product lengths range from 500 to 2,000 mm. Standard widths are 250–800 mm, and heights normally range from 300 to 1,000 mm.
The frame can be manufactured from 12×12 to 25×25 mm square steel or 20×20 to 40×40 mm steel tubes. Decorative scrolls, curved lines, rings, patterns and forged parts can be added according to the approved design.
Separating the metal frame from the planting liner makes soil replacement, liner cleaning and routine plant care more convenient. It also preserves the open and decorative appearance of the ironwork.
Installation Styles and Outdoor Protection
The product can be designed as a freestanding planter, wall-mounted unit or windowsill-bracket structure. It is suitable for villa courtyards, hotels, commercial streets, cafés, residential windows, scenic areas and traditional-style buildings.
Iron Window Planters can also be coordinated with wrought iron fencing, courtyard gates, metal seating and other garden facilities. Similar patterns, proportions and colors can be used to create a consistent exterior design.
Available outdoor treatments include hot-dip galvanizing, zinc-rich primer, powder coating and other outdoor coating systems.
Because decorative ironwork contains many welded joints and connected parts, buyers should check welds, cut edges, closed ends and areas where water may collect. The surface protection system should be selected according to the actual outdoor environment.
Custom Ironwork and Matching Product Design

Laser cutting and CNC plasma cutting machines can process decorative sheets and irregular patterns. Bending, punching and welding equipment can manufacture frames, supports and connection components.
The research and development team can participate in appearance, structure and surface-treatment adjustments. Production and coating departments follow the cutting, welding, grinding and finishing stages.
For projects requiring matching wrought iron fencing or gates, the pattern, frame dimensions, color and installation arrangement can be confirmed together.
Custom Orders, Inspection and Packaging
OEM, ODM and drawing-based customization are available. One set can be accepted for a custom irregular product.
Samples with carved or special structures normally require 10–15 working days. After the dimensions, pattern, liner and surface appearance are confirmed, batch production can begin. The usual production period for a custom order is 15–25 working days.
Cutting, welding, coating and finished-product photos can be provided every 3–5 days.
Before packing, the factory checks dimensions, welded areas, painted surfaces, decorative-part completeness and general appearance. Small planters are protected with EPE foam and export cartons.
Buyers may arrange a third-party factory inspection before shipment. Installation communication, maintenance, renovation and replacement of transport-damaged accessories can be coordinated after delivery.
